Sympathy Flowers
Sympathy flowers are a really important part of my business. As it is the last gift you give to your loved ones, creating something that shows the love and respect that you and everyone who loved them had. It is an honour and not something I take for granted.
All of my sympathy work will be compostable, the arrangements will be made using a cardboard base, and a compostable bag filled with moss with twine tying the two together. For the sheaf, twine will be used to bind the flowers together. The living wreath will be made using a wreath base either willow or grape vine, with moss attached with twine and bamboo pins to add extras to the wreath. I use mainly UK grown materials but can also use imported flowers year round to create the effects you desire, and to meet your needs outside the UK growing season
When it comes to sympathy flowers I believe in a set starting price.
Small posy -£55
A compact and delicate hand-held bouquet tied together with twine or Raffa
Floral arrangement on a cross - £65
A arrangement created sitting on a cross made from twigs and twine
Living Wreath - £65
A wreath created using plants like lavender and succulents attached with moss and twine to the wreath base
Fresh Flower Wreath - £80
Fresh flowers attached to a wreath base with moss and twine
Hand-tied sheaf - £120 (price may vary depending on the flowers)
A flat backed bouquet to be laid on to the coffin. You can put sheafs together for a layered sheaf arrangement , they can placed together down the coffin, four sheafs would allow for full coverage
Double ended coffin spray starts at £350 for 3ft/90cm and £500 for 5ft/150cm
One large arrangement to sit on top of the coffin, can range in size to fit the coffin (can be made smaller than 3ft)
A mix of the options above can be applied dependent on your preferences.
If you would like something more personal for your loved one please do contact me and I will endeavour to create something that works for you and your family. My own sustainable exclusion to this is that I have decided not to use oasis floral form so shape work like words, spheres and bears etc is not something I can create for you.
Delivery is free of change to yourself or your chosen funeral director within the following areas ; Crawley, Horsham, Copthorne,
beyond these areas it will be £1 for each extra mile to your chosen location.
